SOA Collection and Management – Categories 1 and 3

SOA Collection and Management – Categories 1 and 3

• SOA Category 1 – This category covers high-risk materials that are not suitable for any type of reuse. It includes carcasses of infected animals, animals subjected to prohibited treatments, and waste from international canteens. These byproducts must be disposed of through incineration or co-incineration in authorized facilities.

• SOA Category 3 – These include low-risk by-products from slaughterhouses, food processing, and animal products processing. They can be used for the production of animal feed, pet food, fertilizers, or biogas, provided they are treated in accordance with applicable regulations.

Storage facilities for SOA

Antinia Srl has certified storage facilities for the delivery, temporary storage, and management of animal by-products before they are sent for final processing.

The facilities are equipped with:
